Do your part as a community scientist to help document where lead is—and isn’t—around Indianapolis! For this project, pick up a lead screening kit bag from any of the Indianapolis Public Library seed distribution branches. You’ll collect three soil samples and one bulk dust sample. Drop off your samples at the library then within a couple of weeks, look for a report to arrive in your mailbox. You’ll discover if you have lead in your soil outside and in your dust inside your house.
